The Divining Rod

Which crime of the heart is worse: to walk away from the one you love for his own good or to push your love away because trust has been broken?

Caleb Bass is back in Nebraska and knocking on the door of The Divining Rod Ranch, looking for work. He would rather be anywhere else but a promise is a promise and protecting Tilda is the one promise he has made and never broken.

Tilda Bailey would rather see anyone on her doorstep than Caleb. But after scouring Nebraska, Wyoming and South Dakota and not finding any cowboys looking for work, she knows she doesn't have a choice. And Caleb might be best known as a rodeo cowboy but he was raised on a cattle ranch and knows the land at The Divining Rod. She needs him, even if she can't trust him.
