Two Weeks with the Playboy
Journalist Tessa Espinosa has one rule: never give a man control in her life. Make that, never fall in love. So refusing the assignment of interviewing treasure hunter playboy Carson Tulaine is a simple matter of two and two equaling four. Because Carson won her heart and left her adrift in Mexico during a similar treasure hunt ten years before. Using her upcoming wedding to a man who makes no demands on her, makes perfect sense until he leaves her at the altar. Tessa is reminded about the family curse. Tired of the superstition, Tessa vows the find the treasure which will break the "curse".
And that means tagging along on Carson's latest voyage.
Carson is non-plussed to see Tessa, dressed in a wedding gown, in his Key West office. The last thing he wants is to see her lies about him in print. Or to go into the ocean with her – again. But he is older now and the call of the Ransom is too much. He desperately wants to find Tyche, a Greek relief lost with the ships. When Tessa reveals she has a map that could help find the ransom he agrees to have her along.
